- When you click on the =FILE' button you may choose
- one of the following.

- =[#DELETE=]' Deletes all or selected files only.

- To #SELECT' Filenames, click on a name top <RIGHT'

- The names are stored, and yellow arrows tag the
- filename as "MARK FOR OPERATION.' You may flip thru
- the list using the red down :ARROW' to select files
- further down in the directory.@

- If you make an error and select the =WRONG' filename
- select the =[#UNMARKS=]' command. The filename list
- will be cleared and you must start over.

- "FILEBOX' remembers the list until )YOU SAY' so with
- the =[#UNMARKS=]' command, even if you flip to the
- top of the list with the red up :ARROW.'@
- =[:FILEBOX HELP=]' =[#COPYTO=]' or =[#DELETE=]'

- To "COPY' all or "DELETE' all the files in the current
- directory, click on the #FILE' button then click on

- =[#COPYTO=]' or =[#DELETE=]'.@

- "FILEBOX' will ask for a destination drive to copy
- the files to.

- You may select any :DRIVE' button that is <VALID.'

- Make sure if using the ;FLOPPY' drives that you
- have a =DISK' in them.@

- To place the files in a certain "DIRECTORY' on the
- destination drive you may do this by,

- Selecting a directory name from the top :LEFT' box.
- with the =MOUSE.'

- Complete the <FILE' operation by selecting the
- =[#COMMANDS=]' box with the =MOUSE.^

- When you click on the =EDIT' button you may choose
- one of the following commands.

- =[#DELDIR=]' Deletes directorys you selected.
- =[#RENAME=]' Renames directorys or files you selected.

- You must "FIRST' select a )DIRECTORY' or a <FILE' name
- before the command is choosen.@
- =[:FILEBOX HELP=]' =[#DELDIR=]'

- Click on a directory name in the top "LEFT' box.
- You may delete #MORE' than one directory at a time.

- Then click on =[#DELDIR=]'

- There must be <NO FILES' in the )DIRECTORY' you are
- deleting for the operation to work.@

- Click on a "DIRECTORY' or "FILENAME' top =LEFT' or top
- =RIGHT' box.

- Then click on =[#RENAME=]'

- Type in the :NEW NAME' including extention <.EXE' if
- its a filename.^

- To view "DIRECTORYS' and "FILES' on the current disk
- click on the view )BUTTON.'

- This also transfers control to the #COMMANDS' at the
- bottom of the filebox.

- To look thru the directorys list, top =LEFT' box,
- click the red :DOWN' arrow under it.@
- =[:FILEBOX HELP=]' #VIEW' =button'

- Each click on the red :DOWN' arrow shows the next
- ten directorys in the box.

- To return to the top of the directorys list,
- click the red :UP' arrow, once.

- To look thru the files list, top =RIGHT' box, click
- the red :DOWN' arrow under it.@
- =[:FILEBOX HELP=]' #VIEW' =button'

- Each click on the red :DOWN' arrow shows the next
- ten files in the box.

- Clicking on the =[#COMMANDS=]' box returns control
- back to the ;BUTTON' bar below the filebox.

- Clicking on the =[#UNMARKS=]' box )DESELECTS' selected
- directorys or filenames.@

- Other buttons that provide the "SAME' function as
- the view button plus more are...

- The #FILE' button.
- The #SEARCH' button.

- A view may be disabled anytime with =[#COMMANDS=]'.^

- To view "DIRECTORYS' and "FILES' on the current disk
- click on the search )BUTTON.'

- The ;SEARCH' button works like the view button, but
- it first returns you to the root directory of the
- current drive.

- A search may be disabled anytime with =[#COMMANDS=]'.^

- =[:FILEBOX HELP=]' #CREATE' =button'

- To make a directory name in the current directory
- on the current drive, click on the "CREATE' button.

- Then click on =[#MAKEDIR=]' command box. Type in a
- name for your directory and press enter.

- You may use #VIEW' or #SEARCH' to get to the directory
- :PATH' in where you will make your directory.@
- =[:FILEBOX HELP=]' #CREATE' =button'

- Once you are there at the directory path where you
- want to make your directory on, click on the
- =[#COMMANDS=]' command box.

- Then click on the #CREATE' button and the =[#MAKEDIR=]'
- command box.

- Type in a directory name and press enter.^

- You may "EXECUTE' or "RUN' a program file by clicking
- on the run =BUTTON' then clicking the <FILENAME'.

- You may use #VIEW' or #SEARCH' to get to the directory
- :PATH' in where you will run your file.@

- When you are at the directory =PATH' where you want
- to <RUN' your filename, click on the =[#COMMANDS=]'
- command box.

- Then click the =RUN' button.

- And click the "FILENAME.^

- You may "PRINT' a text file by clicking on the print
- =BUTTON' then clicking the #FILENAME'.

- You may use #VIEW' or #SEARCH' to get to the directory
- :PATH' in where you will print your file.@

- When you are at the directory =PATH' where you want
- to <PRINT' your filename, click on the =[#COMMANDS=]'
- command box.

- Then click the =PRINT' button.

- And so....You clicked on the =HELP' button twice
- "MY FRIEND', which means you need special help.

- So to find help on a #COMMAND BUTTON', click the
- help button one time, then click on a command

- If you are clicking on "COMMAND BUTTONS' and they

- the <BOTTOM' of the filebox and they arent =HI-LITING'
- you need to click on a )COMMAND BUTTON' first.^

- Clicking on the <EXIT' button will....

- Exit this program =FILEBOX' back to :DOS.^

- To change to a different drive click on one of
- the =DRIVE' buttons.

- Clicking a drive button will also return you to
- the root directory of that drive and leave you

- The =PATH' is displayed on the screen along with
- the #SIZE' of the disk drive and the #FREE' space
- remaining on that drive in bytes.^
