  4. When you click on the =FILE' button you may choose 
  5. one of the following.

  7. =[#COPYTO=]' Copies all or selected files only.
  8. =[#DELETE=]' Deletes all or selected files only.

  10. If you are selecting files, then you must do so
  11. after you click on the "FILE' button.@

  14. To #SELECT' Filenames, click on a name top <RIGHT' 
  15. box with the =MOUSE.'

  17. The names are stored, and yellow arrows tag the
  18. filename as "MARK FOR OPERATION.' You may flip thru 
  19. the list using the red down :ARROW' to select files  
  20. further down in the directory.@

  23. If you make an error and select the =WRONG' filename
  24. select the =[#UNMARKS=]' command. The filename list 
  25. will be cleared and you must start over.

  27. "FILEBOX' remembers the list until )YOU SAY' so with 
  28. the =[#UNMARKS=]' command, even if you flip to the
  29. top of the list with the red up :ARROW.'@

  32. To "COPY' all or "DELETE' all the files in the current 
  33. directory, click on the #FILE' button then click on
  34.

  38. "FILEBOX' will ask for a destination drive to copy 
  39. the files to.

  41. You may select any :DRIVE' button that is <VALID.'

  44. Make sure if using the ;FLOPPY' drives that you 
  45. have a =DISK' in them.@

  48. To place the files in a certain "DIRECTORY' on the 
  49. destination drive you may do this by,
  50.  
  51. Selecting a directory name from the top :LEFT' box.
  52. with the =MOUSE.'
  53.  
  54. Complete the <FILE' operation by selecting the 
  55. =[#COMMANDS=]' box with the =MOUSE.^

  59. When you click on the =EDIT' button you may choose 
  60. one of the following commands.

  62. =[#DELDIR=]' Deletes directorys you selected.
  63. =[#RENAME=]' Renames directorys or files you selected.

  65. You must "FIRST' select a )DIRECTORY' or a <FILE' name
  66. before the command is choosen.@

  69. Click on a directory name in the top "LEFT' box. 
  70. You may delete #MORE' than one directory at a time.

  74. There must be <NO FILES' in the )DIRECTORY' you are
  75. deleting for the operation to work.@

  78. Click on a "DIRECTORY' or "FILENAME' top =LEFT' or top 
  79. =RIGHT' box.

  83. Type in the :NEW NAME' including extention <.EXE' if 
  84. its a filename.^

  88. To view "DIRECTORYS' and "FILES' on the current disk
  89. click on the view )BUTTON.'

  91. This also transfers control to the #COMMANDS' at the

  95. click the red :DOWN' arrow under it.@

  98. Each click on the red :DOWN' arrow shows the next
  99. ten directorys in the box.

  101. To return to the top of the directorys list, 
  102. click the red :UP' arrow, once.

  105. the red :DOWN' arrow under it.@

  108. Each click on the red :DOWN' arrow shows the next
  109. ten files in the box.

  111. Clicking on the =[#COMMANDS=]' box returns control
  112. back to the ;BUTTON' bar below the filebox.

  114. Clicking on the =[#UNMARKS=]' box )DESELECTS' selected
  115. directorys or filenames.@

  118. Other buttons that provide the "SAME' function as 
  119. the view button plus more are...

  121. The #FILE' button.
  122. The #SEARCH' button.

  128. To view "DIRECTORYS' and "FILES' on the current disk
  129. click on the search )BUTTON.'

  131. The ;SEARCH' button works like the view button, but
  132. it first returns you to the root directory of the 
  133. current drive.

  139. To make a directory name in the current directory 
  140. on the current drive, click on the "CREATE' button.

  142. Then click on =[#MAKEDIR=]' command box. Type in a 
  143. name for your directory and press enter.

  145. You may use #VIEW' or #SEARCH' to get to the directory
  146. :PATH' in where you will make your directory.@

  149. Once you are there at the directory path where you 
  150. want to make your directory on, click on the 
  151. =[#COMMANDS=]' command box.

  153. Then click on the #CREATE' button and the =[#MAKEDIR=]'
  154. command box.

  156. Type in a directory name and press enter.^

  160. You may "EXECUTE' or "RUN' a program file by clicking
  161. on the run =BUTTON' then clicking the <FILENAME'.

  164. :PATH' in where you will run your file.@

  167. When you are at the directory =PATH' where you want 
  168. to <RUN' your filename, click on the =[#COMMANDS=]'

  177. You may "PRINT' a text file by clicking on the print 
  178. =BUTTON' then clicking the #FILENAME'.

  184. When you are at the directory =PATH' where you want 
  185. to <PRINT' your filename, click on the =[#COMMANDS=]'

  194. And so....You clicked on the =HELP' button twice
  195. "MY FRIEND', which means you need special help.

  197. So to find help on a #COMMAND BUTTON', click the 
  198. help button one time, then click on a command

  204. If you are clicking on "COMMAND BUTTONS' and they

  208. the <BOTTOM' of the filebox and they arent =HI-LITING'
  209. you need to click on a )COMMAND BUTTON' first.^

  227. The =PATH' is displayed on the screen along with 
  228. the #SIZE' of the disk drive and the #FREE' space
  229. remaining on that drive in bytes.^
